BrightSpec Chief Scientist Brooks H. Pate wins Earle K. Plyler Prize Molecular Spectroscopy & Dynamics

March 18, 2013 – Brightspec’s chief science officer, Dr. Brooks H. Pate will be presented with the Earle K. Plyler Price for Molecular Spectroscopy and Dynamics at the March 2013 American Physical Society meeting in Baltimore. The award is presented for the development of innovative microwave spectroscopy techniques that take full advantage of new technologies, allowing new insights into rotational and vibrational relaxation in complex molecules.Brooks will present an invited lecture titled “Earle K. Plyler Prize for Molecular Spectroscopy & Dynamics Lecture: Broadband Rotational Spectroscopy for Chemical Kinetics, Molecular Structure, and Analytical Chemistry” on Monday, March 18 at 2:30 pm in the Hilton Baltimore Room: Holiday Ballroom 2.
